Kids Plan-It
Purpose: To teach kids to plan a garden by figuring out what the soil needs, space and light needs for individual plants, what seeds/plants to purchase, the ordering process and when and where to plant within the garden space available. The kids will create garden journals and map out the Kids Harvest! gardens for the 2016 season.
OPEN to ALL kids in the 4th-5th grades
OPEN to 3rd graders if space available
Kids Plan-It will meet bimonthly from January through April. With help, they will plan the Kids Harvest! gardens for the year. During the spring session of Kids Harvest, those who are available will help to organize the planting of the gardens.
