Co-ed Gaelic Football League Grades 6-8

In cooperation with the Maine Gaelic Sport Alliance, the Gaelic Football League is open to any boy or girl in grades 6-8 interested in learning the skills used in this national sport of Ireland. Gaelic Football combines soccer, basketball, and rugby into one fun game! The emphasis will be on building skills while promoting participation, fun, and mutual respect. We will hold friendly matches against other local Gaelic football teams. Each participant will receive a t-shirt. Learn more at www.gaelicsportsme.com.

Want to get involved? We are looking for people willing to coach and will waive the program fee for your child.

  • Dates: Mondays, May 15 - June 5
  • Time: 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
  • Location: Lincoln Field
  • Fee: $35
  • Co-Ed Rec League with teams from Bonny Eagle, Windham, Cape Elizabeth & South Portland

Equipment
  • Mouth guards are required
  • Cleats are highly recommended

Location
Lincoln Field is in Windham, off Route 115 (Tanberg Trail). After crossing Route 302, travel 2.5 miles along Route 115, then right onto Lincoln Circle. Travel right around the circle, the field road is after the 2nd house on the circle.
