Bowls of Vegetables
This program is designed to bring together a community to help kids learn, grow and harvest food for the local food pantry. Each week will be themed and includes a story read by the librarian, a craft, a snack and a garden activity presented by a master gardener. During last session the group will plant their garden!

This program takes place at the Richville Library. Standish Rec will provide transportation for children already enrolled in the After School Program.

A summer session will be offered through our Summer Camp, offering an opportunity to help the garden grow.  The fall session will reap the harvest.

Class Information
  • Open to children in grades K - 5
  • Dates: Thursdays: May 25 - June 8 and Wednesday, June 14
  • Time: 3:30 - 4:45 p.m.
  • Includes a Healthy Snack
