Senior Newsletter
As I put together this spring newsletter, I am looking out at the new snowfall that we were “blessed” with yesterday… perhaps you are in agreement that spring can’t come early enough this year! In the months of April—June, we encourage you to join us for some of our usual activities, such as Line Dancing, Tai Chi, the Book Club or Bridge…but don’t come alone—bring a friend! We have taken a couple of trips on our new vans… although they may seem “cozy” compared to the large charter buses we have previously contracted with, we are saving money which means we can go out and about more often… please consider joining us! Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Standish Summer Spectacular on June 27th——June 29th…. We’ll be celebrating the rich history of the three villages that make up the community—Steep Falls, Sebago Lake Station and Standish Corner with a theme of “History in the Making”. As we like to say in the Parks and Recreation profession—”the benefits are endless”, so please stay active with us!

Director of Parks and Recreation

Dancing was just one of the many highlights of our trip to Indian Head for their annual St. Patrick's Day Party on March 15...recognize these two Standish Seniors in the photo above?
Notice
A minimum number of participants will be required in order to offer the trip - or we may fill the vans quickly, so come in soon! One registration form covers the trip and the Standish Rec. programs highlighted in each newsletter. Forms are available on our website and can be printed off and sent in with payment or you can register on-line with a credit card right here on our website.
